About the brew

This kit makes a pleasant and appealing Apple Cider. Our kit is made from the highest quality NZ Grown Apples (50% Gala, 25% Braeburn and 25% Jazz) and the result is a clean and crisp cider. The apple flavours are light and pleasant and the overall taste is refreshing.

What's included

• 4 × 2kg bottles NZ apple cider concentrate
• 2 × 11g Fermentis S-04 yeast
• 2 × 10g yeast nutrient

Brewing profile

• Fermentation temperature: 23°C / 73°F
• Original Gravity: approximately 1.042
• Final Gravity: approximately 1.010
• Alcohol: approximately 4.2% ABV

At around 1.010 the cider retains some sweetness; fermenting further to about 1.007 produces a drier cider at roughly 4.6% ABV.
