An IPA with a flavour-packed punch. Our IPA finishes clean and crisp with prominent fruit-forward aromas and a deep golden hue typically seen in 'new world' pale ales. This product is designed to be used with 3kg (6.6lbs) of WilliamsWarn® Light Dry Malt Extract and water to make 23/25 litres (6/6.6 US gallons or 5/5.5 Imp. Gallons) of wort. Our IPA Complete Kits come with 200g of Taiheke hops however you can use the same quantity of any dual-purpose hop of your choice, steeped for 30 minutes in 80°C water, to achieve an IPA loaded with hoppy goodness. Original Gravity of 1.062-1.066 (15°P- 16°P), fermented to a Final Gravity of about 1.013 (3.3°P), resulting in 6.4-7% alcohol by volume, 34 Bitterness Units and 6.6 SRM/13 EBC colour. Ferment at 18-28ºC / 64-77ºF (ideally near the middle of this range).
