About the brew

A thirst-quenching Summer Ale, perfect for the hot summer months. Our Summer Ale is straw-coloured in appearance with a low bitterness. Technically it is regarded as a Cream Ale – an ale version of a lager beer, but with the resulting taste profile being similar to that of a light lager.

What's included

• 800g Summer Ale liquid malt extract
• 750g light dry malt extract
• 11g pack Fermentis S-04 ale yeast

Brewing profile

• Fermentation temperature: 18–28°C / 64–77°F
• Original Gravity: approximately 1.045
• Final Gravity: approximately 1.011
• Alcohol: approximately 4.5% ABV
• Bitterness: 13 BU
• Colour: 3 SRM / 6 EBC

These are typical WilliamsWarn recipe targets; actual readings can vary slightly with final batch volume and fermentation.
